Berlin, Germany – December 17, 2024 – TractEasy proudly announces the launch of its new subsidiary, TractEasy GmbH, headquartered in Berlin. This milestone reinforces the Alvest/EasyMile joint venture’s commitment to expanding its delivery of autonomous towing solutions across Europe, and solidifies its presence in the German market.
TractEasy GmbH is currently focused particularly on the EZTow, the most widely-deployed electric, driverless tow tractor. Designed for industrial sites, airports, and logistics centers, it optimizes operational efficiency, while enhancing safety, and overall performance.
The solution is already being used in 5 active projects by major airport and industrial clients in Germany including the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing and Daimler Truck AG.
It is anticipated to be closely followed by the EZDolly. The autonomous cargo dolly is TractEasy’s newest product, with a major launch client already secured in the US and several active discussions in Germany and the rest of Europe.
“Germany represents TractEasy’s largest market to date due to its strong industrial base and innovation-driven culture and ecosystem,” said Richard Reno, CEO of TractEasy. “The launch of TractEasy GmbH in Berlin allows us to better serve our German clients with locally tailored solutions and support. Berlin also provides easy connections to serve our customers across Europe.”
“This new TractEasy office is the largest office in Germany for any Alvest division thus far and indicates our commitment to Germany and will strengthen our ability to serve not only TractEasy’s customers as but also customers for the greater Alvest group” added Valentin Schmitt, CEO of Alvest.
